Cabin Network Application System (CNAS) for Tectura

SITUATION
IMS was contracted by Tectura to design, architect, implement, and test the Boeing Commercial Aviation Systems Core Network Application System (CNAS) service-based infrastructure software for Linux airborne and Windows ground segments that interfaced with onboard aircraft systems and SATCOM wireless link.

SOLUTION
IMS designed and developed the airborne and ground infrastructure software. IMS then developed an API and SDK to allow third party developers the ability to write meaningful applications that sit on top of this infrastructure software. IMS was responsible for the architecture, systems engineering, software design, software development, and integration/test activities.
